The name ‘Vlinder’ has been with me since my childhood. My dutch grandma always used to call me so. The Vlinder (Dutch for butterfly) symbolizes lightness and sensitivity to me. In my creative work, I focus on these traits.
After graduating from Higher School for Graphic and Communication Design in Linz, I was able to deepen my passion for design at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences in the degree program Design and Product Management.
After 10 years of experience working for companies and agencies in Vienna, Munich, and Salzburg, I founded my own studio for commercial art, illustration and design in Salzburg in 2019.
I support my clients in the fields of illustration and graphic design (logo design, editorial design, or corporate design) to create a distinctive brand positioning and emotional visual language.
In addition to my illustrations for children’s books, I have worked on illustrative and graphic projects for, among others, Hellbrunner Wasserspiele, Stiegl Braushop, Makia Ski, Hotel Nesslerhof, and the Children’s and Youth Legal Advocacy of Austria.
