Franziska Oerter was born in Holland and raised in Austria. Her dutch grandmother used to call her Vlinder when she was a child.
Vlinder (Dutch for “butterfly”) symbolizes lightness and sensitivity. Qualities that lie at the heart of her creative work.
After graduating from the Higher Technical College for Graphic Design in Linz, she was able to further explore her passion for design at Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, where she studied Design & Product Management, where she completed her master’s degree.
Following ten years of professional experience working for companies and agencies in Vienna, Munich and Salzburg, she founded her own design and art studio in Salzburg in 2019.
